 2A11 aluminum alloy characteristics and scope of application: 
 2A11 aluminum alloy for the application of a hard aluminum, commonly referred to as the standard hard aluminum, with a moderate intensity, annealing, just quenching and thermal state of plasticity is still good, can be heat treated to strengthen, in the state of quenching and natural aging, spot welding good weldability, cracking tendency when gas welding and argon arc welding; cutting the quench aging state is still good and bad in the annealed condition.

 Conditions yield strength σ0.2 (MPA): ≥ 215

 2A11 aluminum alloy heat treatment specification: 
 1) Homogenization Annealing: heating 480 ~ 495 ℃; insulation 12 ~ 14h; furnace cooling. 2) complete annealing: heating the 390 ~ 430 ℃; holding time of 30 ~ 120min; air-cooled. 3) rapid thermal annealing: heating the 350 ~ 370 ℃; holding time of 30 ~ 120min; air-cooled. 4) quenching and aging: hardening 495 ~ 510 ° C, water-cooled; artificial aging 155 ~ 165 ℃, 6 ~ 10h, air-cooled; natural aging: room temperature for 96h.
